The Palawan Pawnshop junior circuit is the backbone of junior competition in the Philippines. It runs regional legs across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao through the year, and is sanctioned by PHILTA and UTR — so results count for both local standing and your UTR Rating.

Who it’s for

Boys and girls in 10-and-under (unisex), 12, 14, 16 and 18-and-under divisions. Many legs are “Group 2” tournaments in host cities such as Naga and Cebu City, San Pablo (7 Lakes), Digos and Isulan.

How to enter

  1. Create a free UTR Sports account for the player.
  2. Find the leg on the UTR platform — registration for recent legs has been through UTR.
  3. Check the age-group cut-off date, sign-in time and venue on the event page.
  4. For questions, the circuit’s tournament director has been listed in news reports as Bobby Mangunay (0915-404-6464).

Why it matters

Consistent results here build your national standing and your UTR Rating — the two numbers coaches, the national pool and college coaches look at first.

Budget per leg · estimate
Entry Set per leg — some legs have had free registration
Metro Manila leg ₱1,000–₱3,000
